My entry for the TheArtOrder.com challenge Eowyn and the Nazgul, always wanted to draw this part of the book so it was a lot of fun to execute. The thing is pretty big though at 19x40 inches so my hand really hurts now ><

I personally think that this scene was stronger in the movie than in the book. In the book, she was borderline suicidal when she went up against the Witch-King and wasn't really afraid of him. In the movie, she was clearly flat-fucking TERRIFIED of him, yet she still stood her ground to defend Theoden.
