From the Brother's Grimm fairy tale "Little Brother Little Sister," in the tale a young boy and girl run away from home and their evil step mother who is really a witch. The witch puts a curse on the forest rivers that will turn any who drink from it's waters into a deer, which ends up happening to the little brother. Embracing his new form however the little brother frolicks around the woods and even leads the local prince and his hunting party on wild chases. I gave the deer boy a human eye and smile along with a garter collar which was given to him by his sister in the book.

I really like your illustrations of the Brothers Grimm tales. Especially taht one. The perspective is great. It looks very natural, not distorted and the way how the hunting dogs turned out, especially their dynamics but also the dynamics of the whole illustration are just wonderful.
