Description
I like to switch things up but this is usually how I paint things, starting with a line drawing then blocking in colors underneath before moving onto the final rendering of values/textures overtop everything.
Sometimes I don't see certain mistakes until later stages, like realizing Mordin's hips were very feminine looking in the initial linework, which is why I like this process because once I block in the flat colors I get a rough idea of the silhouette and can make adjustments before proceeding to the laborious rendering stage.
