That seems like too much blood to me, but I don't know. I've never had my finger cut off The rest of it is breathtaking. I especially love the door and the stone; they look wonderfully real in a storybook sort of way.
I love the mood of this, with the black-and-white/sepia tone, the girl's soft reflection in the door, and the ravens all around (especially that one perched on top of the arch). It's kind of a muted creepiness, like everything is quiet and just waiting for something to happen.
